What is a certifided professional pet sitter?
As a Certified Professional Pet Sitter (CPPS) and Fear Free® Certified Professional, I go beyond basic pet care to ensure your pet’s physical and emotional well-being is always the priority.
The CPPS designation, earned through Pet Sitters International (PSI), reflects in-depth training and successful completion of a rigorous exam covering:
Pet health, safety, and behavior
Emergency response and pet first aid
Sanitation, home care, and client confidentiality
Ethical standards and legal best practices
To maintain this title, I’m required to earn 30 Continuing Education Units (CPUs) every 3 years—staying current on the latest in professional pet care.

What is a Fear Free® Certified Pet Sitter?
A Fear Free® Certified Professional has completed science-based training focused on reducing Fear, Anxiety, and Stress (FAS) in pets during any interaction—whether it’s walking, feeding, playtime, or administering medication.
Fear Free techniques include:
Reading emotional cues and adjusting handling
Using positive reinforcement and calm environments
Avoiding force, fear-based correction, or overstimulation
Supporting shy, anxious, or medically fragile pets with empathy
To maintain certification, Fear Free professionals must also complete ongoing continuing education through refresher courses and specialized modules.
Why it matters: Fear Free-certified care supports your pet’s emotional well-being—leading to more relaxed visits, healthier behavior, and peace of mind for both pets and their people.
(As a Fear-free Certified Pet Sitter, it is against my policy to use e-collars, choke, prong or pinch collars while pets are under my care. I will suggest alternatives during meeting & greet)

A Meet & Greet is crucial before any service can be provided. I offer a 15-minute initial phone consultation to understand your requirements and explain my services and offerings. After this, if you wish to proceed, I offer a complimentary Meet & Greet of up 45 minutes to meet your pet(s) and discuss you pets past history, training, personality, schedule, feeding habits, and preferences.
Please note: Meet & Greets are conducted on the weekends from 10:00am-2:30pm.
Consultation beyond initial
$35 (30 minutes) Minimum booking
Any additional consultations beyond the initial meet-and-greet will incur a per-minute charge. Please note that if you add a new furry friend to your household that I have not yet met, pet care services cannot be provided until another meet-and-greet session has been conducted to ensure a proper assessment.
