Standard Cancellation Policy

We kindly request a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours' notice by 6:00 PM the previous day to cancel any scheduled visits. Any cancellations made less than twenty-four (24) hours may be charged in full. (Limited exemptions may apply at our discretion)

Inclement Weather Cancellation Policy

For the safety of the pet sitter, Clients, and their pets, services may be cancelled with less than twenty-four (24) hours’ notice if weather conditions create unsafe travel conditions or prevent safe access to the Client’s home. In such cases, services may be rescheduled without charge. (This is the only exception to the cancellation policy.)

Same-Day, Last-Minute Booking Policy

To help accommodate schedule adjustments or last-minute care needs, requests made within eight (8) hours or less of the scheduled service time may be accepted based on availability and will include a $5 per-visit last-minute booking fee.

This allows me to continue providing reliable, high-quality care while making room for urgent requests when possible.

Weekend Service Policy (Excludes Holiday & Vacation Bookings)

Laura Robel’s Pet Services LLC is closed for standard services on weekends, except for approved holiday and vacation bookings. Weekend services are provided strictly based on availability. Vacation bookings that include three (3) or more visits per day do not incur an additional fee.

Weekend services are subject to a $10 per-visit weekend service fee.

Major Holiday Bookings Policy

Major Holiday Bookings Fee (individual bookings)

An additional fee of $25.00 is applied per visit on all major holidays.

Major Holiday Weekend Fee:

$15 per-visit fee applies to all services scheduled on major holiday weekends during high-demand periods, including Memorial Day weekend, Independence Day weekend, and peak holiday weekends from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day.

Holiday Package Discount Rate:
A reduced rate of $75.00 per day is applicable for package bookings involving four or more visits daily on all major holidays. A reduced rate of $30 per day fee applies to all services scheduled on major holiday weekends during high-demand periods, including Memorial Day weekend, Independence Day weekend, and peak holiday weekends from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day.

New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Easter

(Reserved Dates) Deposit Policy for Vacation/Holiday Bookings

A 50% deposit is kindly requested at the time of booking to secure your desired holiday and vacation dates, and this amount will be applied towards the total cost of our services. The remaining balance will be due no later than three (3) days prior to the initial scheduled service date; please note that services cannot be rendered if payment has not been received by this deadline. Due to significant demand and limited availability, the deposit is non-refundable in the event of last-minute cancellations, changes to your schedule, or early returns.

In situations where flight cancellations occur due to nationally recognized severe weather, we may consider a partial or full reimbursement for documented, unforeseen circumstances. This policy aims to thoughtfully balance understanding for unavoidable disruptions with the operational considerations of reserved scheduling and blocked availability. Vacation Booking Cancellation Policy

Cancellations submitted with less than fifteen (15) days' notice before the scheduled start date will incur a charge for the full remaining balance. For cancellations made one month or more in advance, a deposit refund or credit to the client's account will be issued. (Please note that limited exemptions may apply)
