We kindly request a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours' notice by 8:00 PM the previous day to cancel any scheduled visits. Any cancellations made less than twenty-four (24) hours may be charged in full. (Limited exemptions may apply at our discretion)

For the safety of the pet sitter, Clients, and their pets, services may be cancelled with less than twenty-four (24) hours’ notice if weather conditions create unsafe travel conditions or prevent safe access to the Client’s home. In such cases, services may be rescheduled without charge. (This is the only exception to the cancellation policy.)

To help accommodate schedule adjustments or last-minute care needs, requests made within eight (8) hours or less of the scheduled service time may be accepted based on availability and will include a $5 per-visit last-minute booking fee. 

This allows me to continue providing reliable, high-quality care while making room for urgent requests when possible.

Laura Robel’s Pet Services LLC is closed for standard services on weekends, except for approved holiday and vacation bookings. Weekend services are provided strictly based on availability. Vacation bookings that include three (3) or more visits per day do not incur an additional fee.

 Individual or single-visit weekend services are subject to a $10 per-visit weekend service fee. 

Major Holiday Bookings Fee (individual bookings)

An additional fee of $25.00 is applied per visit on all major holidays for individual booked services.

Major Holiday Weekend Fee:

$15 per-visit fee applies to all services scheduled on holiday weekends during high-demand periods, including Memorial Day weekend, Independence Day weekend, and peak holiday weekends from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day.

Holiday Package Discount Rate:
A reduced rate of $75.00 per day is applicable for package bookings involving four or more visits daily on all major holidays. A reduced rate of $30 per-visit fee applies to all services scheduled on holiday weekends during high-demand periods, including Memorial Day weekend, Independence Day weekend, and peak holiday weekends from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day.

Major holidays include:

New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Easter

Cancellations made fifteen (15) days or less notice, prior to the scheduled start date will be charged in full for the remaining balance. (Limited exemptions may apply at the sole discretion of Laura Robel’s Pet Services LLC)

A 50% deposit is required at booking to reserve holiday and vacation dates and is applied toward the total cost of services. The remaining balance is due three (3) days prior to the first scheduled service date; services will not be provided if unpaid by this deadline. Due to high demand and limited availability, the deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellations, schedule changes, or early returns.

In the case of flight cancellations caused by nationally recognized severe weather, a partial reimbursement may be considered for documented, unforeseen circumstances. This policy balances compassion for unavoidable disruptions with the operational realities of reserved scheduling and blocked availability.
